Delayed Delicacies

Hello all,

Haven't disappeared yet! Still here, just got a little lost in all the excitement. I have discovered Precious Metal Clay!!! Fun stuff, since I already indulge in pottery. The clay comes in silver, gold, bronze and soon copper. Rings and pendants will be my specialty. Soon you shall see a lot more wire work and chain mail jewelry as well. Swarovski crystals will pop up here and there too. I look forward to exploring more of my creative side with you. If you're interested in Precious Metal Clay (PMC), there is a whole world of information there on the net. I encourage you on this delicious journey my fellow artists.

Bye for now only to say hello again I promise this time often!

Procrastinators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calling all last minute shoppers! I just updated all my online stores. Looking for last minute gifts? Take a look at some of my newly made necklaces at my shop. I've displayed some of my jewelry and photographs at a friend's shop and I'm having more luck there than I do online. Hmmmmm? I now have five online stores. You'll find the links on the right. A very Merry Christmas to you all! In this, I know I am super early. There's still time to order from one of my stores.

So feel free to place an order NOW!

Buenos noches,

Season Sale

Hello

I hope you are all doing well wherever you are. A quick update; I got rid of the slide show on the right displaying my recent pictures of Shanghai and a link to my older photographs. There has been a lot of interest in people wanting to purchase some of the pieces. Since this was an interesting opportunity and something I have been thinking about for a short while, I decided to go ahead and sell them through my website. A bit more of a professional approach.

My shop has become much easier for myself and customers. I have reduced, as well as given standard prices to all the products available depending on their category. A much less difficult process. Access my shops using the three links to the right; raza, dawanda, and etsy.

On another note, I have started to display my wares in a friend's shop and feel like I am going in the right direction. So far so good. Searching for more ways to do more. On my way though, slowly but surely!

Oh and here is one of my photographs! "Pain"

Happy Shopping!

Diwali!

Hi

Today is the third day of the Indian new year and I thought I would write a short post wishing you all a Happy Diwali! In relation to that, I have included a link of a photo that is spiritual in nature to the right of this piece. Please take a look if you like and rate it. I have also installed a gadget that tells you about Hindu gods just for this occasion and for fun. Take a peek for pleasure.

Diwali is the festival of lights. It signifies the triumph of good over evil in the human form. This time of year helps me learn more about my roots and offers me a sense of peace. I wish you all the same.

Diwali Shubhkamna

Noel Note

Christmas is coming up and its time for the gift of giving. I wanted to write a personal letter to all who may be thinking about buying from my shop. I just recently went on a holiday to Shanghai and bought some beads there so I'll be adding pieces all throughout the month of October up until the end of the year. You can find the right type of jewelry for your loved ones for them to wear on any occasion. If you have any questions or queries, please feel free to contact me. I am at your service. Please remember that these beads are of a high quality and I promise to keep the prices reasonable.

This time I've decided to post a photograph of Chinese Lanterns since we just celebrated the mid Autumn festival. Shanghai is absolutely beautiful, it's one of those cities you just must visit in your lifetime. The slide show of photographs on the right let you view some of the ones taken there. Enjoy!

Touch-ups

A belated post from me. Although I haven't written in a while, I've made some changes to my blog intermittently. If any of you enjoy pottery, there is a slide show on the right of some of my pieces that I have done on the wheel. On the right, I also have a section named "Interesting Reads", an article on blogging might be of some intrigue to some of you. If you do decide to read it or even if you don't, I'd love it if you took a moment to answer my survey which is also on the right! I haven't allowed for a "No" simply because I forgot. If that is your answer, please write me a comment. Also, I decided to sell my products on Dawanda, a European version of Etsy. Curious to see how that turns out. Either way the more exposure, the better.

Selling products like jewelry online is a little difficult because one usually likes to touch the piece or try it on. I've discovered that you have to compensate for that with great photographs and detailed descriptions. I found one store online that sells great equipment for just this purpose. It's worth taking a look at what they offer. I've also learned that you have to be pretty detailed on a description about what kind of a business person you are. Friendliness and approachability seem to be important.

Last but not least, I would like to exchange links with other jewelry websites out there. Please take a look at mine and write me a comment if you would like to work together.

Last words, I have a lot to work on!
